BioField: Quick Summary

BioField Pros

  • An easy-to-use website you can navigate easily.
  • Although there aren’t many reviews yet, what is there is very positive. It’s obvious that Biofield produces high-quality and effective products.
  • The affordable price promise is something that the company has definitely pulled through on. This is fairly strong CBD at a very affordable price, and we appreciate that.
  • For some, the use of CBD isolate will be positive. Then again, this depends on how you look at it.
  • A money-back guarantee is always a good thing.

BioField Cons

  • We can’t find third-party lab reports on the website. That being said, we know that the hemp itself is tested for quality as part of the Hemp Pilot Research Program.
  • A very limited range of products, although this may change over time.

BioField: Full Review

CBD has come a long way since it entered the market as a food supplement. It has done a lot for the medical industry, as well as changing the stigma surrounding cannabis. Rather than simply associating all cannabis with illegal marijuana, many people now think of hemp and cannabinoids, which can both do a lot for our health. While hemp is a great nutritional food, cannabinoids like CBD can function as a great food supplement.

At one time, there was a very limited number of CBD retailers, with very few options in the way of products. Nowadays, consumers are spoilt for choice. It is hard to choose between different brands, never mind the methods of consumption.

Unfortunately, this rapidly expanding market is not overseen by any governing body, partly because the MHRA sees CBD as a medicinal product, leaving CBD food supplements in a grey area. This basically means that responsibility is on the consumer to ensure they are not being scammed, and to stay safe.

Most brands nowadays are reputable, but it’s important to check before you buy. You can try checking out our top tips for buying CBD online, but you should also make sure to read reviews. Third-party review sites like Greenshoppers are here to help assist you with your decision, giving you a full range of information on any and every brand.

Today, we are taking a look at Biofield. Read on to discover everything you could want to know about this company.

Who Is Biofield?

There is not very much information on the Biofield website. It says that the brand was started by a group of individuals passionate about the power of CBD – which is essentially what it says on every CBD website.

The hemp used in Biofield products is cultivated and extracted in Kentucky, under a Hemp Pilot Research Program. This program verifies that the hemp you are buying is high-quality, as it is regulated by the U.S. government. Furthermore, it allows Biofield to ship to all 50 states with no hassle. As far as we know, this means they can also ship internationally, including to the United Kingdom.

According to the ‘About Us’ section, Biofield uses industrial farming methodologies, food-grade compound extraction, vegetable genetics, and quality control techniques to ensure that their hemp is of the highest quality possible.

It’s unfortunate that there is no other information about the company. We don’t know when it was started, who runs it, or where it is based. We do know that Biofield offers a full refund for any product returned within 30 days of purchase. This guarantee is always nice, as it shows that Biofield has confidence in its own products.

BioField CBD Products

Compared to many other brands, Biofield has a very limited product range. We wish that the website told us when the brand was formed so that we could see if it is a start-up company. The website is copyrighted from 2018, so we could assume that this is a fairly new brand. If this is the case, then the small range is not surprising and Biofield will probably expand in the future as the company grows.

BioField CBD Oil

BioField CBD OilBioField CBD oil is made using a CBD isolate, meaning that is sure to be completely free of THC. This could be a drawback for some, as some consumers like to experience the entourage effect by using full-spectrum hemp extract. In Biofield’s case, the CBD isolate is 99% pure, extracted and filtered from Kentucky-grown hemp.

The isolate powder has been mixed with MCT oil, widely regarded to be one of the best carrier oils for CBD. Each bottle is 30ml (1oz), with the dropper holding 1ml servings; this means that there are approximately 30 servings in the bottle.

There are a few different strength options available:

  • CBD Oil Tincture 500mg: $49.95
  • CBD Oil Tincture 1500mg: $89.95
  • CBD Oil Tincture 3000mg: $149.95

These strengths are quite good. The dropper in the 500mg option holds 16mg of CBD at a time, so complete newbies might want to use half a drop as the first serving. However, all of these strengths are pretty good for experienced users, and the 3000mg option offers a saving on a price per milligram. At just $0.05 per milligram, it’s a steal!

BioField CBD Capsules

BioField CBD CapsulesThe capsules contain the very same CBD oil as mentioned above. Of course, this means it is a 99% CBD isolate mixed with MCT oil. Biofield states that this option is ideal for travel and is quicker to take than the CBD oil tincture.

There is only one strength and sizing option available. With 25mg per capsule and 30 capsules per bottle, you get a total of 750mg of CBD with your purchase. The bottle costs $64.95.

It’s quite unfortunate that Biofield doesn’t list the other ingredients included in the capsule. Some softgels are made using gelatine, which means they can’t be consumed by vegans and some religious groups; this is a big downside because consumers have the right to know whether they can use the product or not.

BioField CBD Topical

BioField CBD TopicalAgain, Biofield has only one CBD topical on offer: The CBD Rapid Cooling Pain Cream. It is of course produced using the 99% CBD isolate, this time in a quantity of 200mg. The CBD is combined with purified water, aloe leaf extract, Arnica Montana flower extract, and menthol.

Menthol and aloe are often used in cooling creams for their pain-reliving effects. Biofield has used these ingredients to develop this cream, which is intended for sore muscles. According to the website, it provides “long-lasting” relief.

The cooling cream comes in a 3.4 fluid ounce bottle, with a pump dispenser for easy application. It costs $49.95.

Our Verdict on BioField CBD: 7/10

New CBD brands are springing up all the time, and it appears as though Biofield is one of the latest. Reviews are trickling in for this brand, and so far, people are enjoying the quality that it offers.

Even better, Biofield offers CBD at a very affordable price. Considering that the hemp is clearly of great quality, coming from a Pilot Research program, the prices are excellent. We think that the brand uses solvent extraction to drive the price down (we have suspicions based on the “food-grade compound extraction” line), which some may see as a negative. However, as long as the products are safe, then we have no qualms with solvent extraction.

We will have to see what the future holds for Biofield CBD. It appears that the brand will go places, as consumers can’t resist affordable prices. We hope to see the product range expand in the future, but for now, these three products seem to be good enough.
