Our review today is a little different. We will be taking a look at Bota Hemp, a brand which has not yet launched. There has been a bit of hype around this brand, which looks like it’s going to be a big hit when the products finally hit the market.

About Bota Hemp
Bota Hemp’s Facebook page says that it was founded in 2017. However, the social media is completely new, and no products are listed on the website – consumers are met by a ‘Coming Soon’ page.
We can assume that the company got together and began planning in 2017, which means that this brand has been a long time coming! Or, perhaps the company recently decided to revamp and start over. After all, the Facebook header says, ‘New Look Coming Soon.’
Bota Hemp’s target audience is very clear. The mission is to encourage people to practice a healthier lifestyle using hemp-based CBD products. The website is a pale, blush pink colour, adorned with floral accents. It appears that the new product packaging will feature a similar kind of design.
Although the website is not yet up and running, Bota Hemp’s Twitter certainly is. The brand has started the hashtag “#Getbotavated”, and there are plenty of posts on the site. However, these seem to have stopped in February 2019. Looking back, some of the tweets offer discount codes for sales, so we think it’s likely that Bota Hemp has started over from a former brand.
The Bota Hemp Products
It seems that the primary focus of Bota Hemp will be skincare products and tinctures. There are three categories of the products: Dry Skin, Tender Muscles, and Chaos. Of course, the first two categories are topical products intended to relieve pain or care for your skin.
So far, the website lists some information about some of the products. However, from the twitter page, we see that more products are listed. For example, there is a range of THC-free CBD oil not listed on the site. Anyway, here is what we know so far:
Dry Skin Products
All-Day Body Lotion: In an 8-ounce bottle, this product combined 400mg of CBD in a full-spectrum extract with pure avocado oil. This is intended to help nourish dry skin.
Satin Body Crème: Rather than avocado oil, the body crème includes shea butter. It comes in a tub as it has a thicker texture. The 4oz tub contains 200mg of CBD.
Hand Lotion: As an essential in many people’s handbags, this hand lotion is just a 2oz tube. It contains 150mg of CBD, alongside apricot oil with Vitamin A and Vitamin E. Bota Hemp says that it will help with dry skin.
Tender Muscles Products
Muscle Melt Crème: Similar to the Body Crème mentioned above, this topical is also a fairly thick and buttery texture. It uses a cinnamon oil which warms the skin naturally, helping to treat sore muscles. The 2oz tub contains 300mg of CBD.
Chaos Products
The Chaos products are intended to help the full body. Instead of topical treatments to target localised areas, this range consists of tinctures. The tinctures are full-spectrum hemp extract with 10mg of CBD per serving, suspended in a coconut MCT oil.
As we mentioned, we think that THC-free tinctures are also available, but they are not yet listed on the site.
When Can We Expect Bota Hemp Products?
Bota Hemp has not yet specified when the new products will be launching. When you first enter the website, you have the option to sign up to a mailing list so that you can be the first to know about new products when they launch.
Our Opinion on Bota Hemp
Of course, it’s hard to give a genuine opinion on the new Bota Hemp when the company has not yet launched.
However, it does seem that this company will be a great hit. After all, CBD skincare has really taken off lately, and this brand seems to be putting a lot of effort into its products. The packaging and website look top-notch, so hopefully, the products will live up to the hype.
