There’s a growing market for CBD beverages. While many might enjoy starting their day off with a cup of CBD coffee or a mug of CBD tea, an increasing number of brands are selling fruity drinks.
Drink 420 is stocking a range of carbonated soft drinks containing CBD. Formerly, flavoured CBD drinks like this were limited to the American market. However, brands like O’Shaugnessy, Cannasa, and now Drink 420 UK are now making it a possibility. British consumers can now enjoy the wonders of CBD drinks.
Of course, CBD drinks have many benefits. They provide the same effects as a CBD edible, with slow-release cannabidiol that lasts a while. Also like an edible, drinks are delicious and make it easy to fit CBD into your day.
Here at Greenshoppers, we love CBD beverages, so we were excited to learn more about the Drink 420 brand.
Who Is Drink 420?
Drink 420 is a brand specialising in CBD drinks, with three flavours currently on offer. This company aims to provide a sweet, CBD-infused energy drink that doesn’t give you the caffeine jitters.
The name is a play on four-twenty, the marijuana code. It’s also because these drinks are designed as an afternoon pick-me-up; you can drink it at 4:20 to get through the afternoon slump.
The website is lacking in information about the company. There’s no information about who started the brand, where it’s based, where it sources hemp, and what extraction method is used. It’s pretty impossible to judge the quality of a brand without these facts.
That said, Holland & Barrett now stocks Drink 420, and so does The Vegan Kind. As a result, we think it’s safe to say that these products are high-quality and legitimate. Still, the brand should consider adding more vital information to the website.

The Drink 420 brand only sells CBD drinks, with no other CBD products on offer. Currently, there are three flavours available; we tried them all.
Drink 420 Elderflower & Lime CBD Drink
The Drink 420 beverages come in cans. You can buy them in packs of 12, 24, and 36, so you never have to be without your favourite CBD beverages.
Each can contains 15mg of CBD, with no THC whatsoever. All the ingredients are vegetarian and vegan-friendly, and are also gluten-free. There are also only 33 calories per tin!
The elderflower and lime flavour comes from all-natural ingredients. With these flavours and a sparkling formula, these drinks are truly refreshing.

Drink 420 Wild Berries CBD Drink
If you’re looking for CBD-infused drinks with a delicious, fruity taste, then the Wild Berries flavour is for you.
This option is pretty much the same as the Elderflower and Lime edition, only with different ingredients. The Wild Berry option contains apple juice, blackberry juice, and blueberry juice.
The prices are also the same.
Drink 420 Hibiscus Ginger CBD Drink
Finally, there is a Hibiscus and Ginger option. This one is spicier with just the right level of sweetness, all without added sugar. Again, there’s only 33 calories per can and 15mg of CBD.
Once again, the prices are the same.
Interestingly, Drink 420 suggests using up to 3 cans a day to get your required dose. Drinking three a day might get you through the box quickly, so consider buying the 36-pack!
Summary of Drink 420: 6/10
Drink 420 is a pretty reputable brand. Despite the lack of information, it’s clear that Drink 420 is legitimate thanks to its appearance in newspapers and High Street shops. However, we can’t give Drink 420 a high rating because it lacks important information.
Mainly, it’s crucial to provide lab reports. If Drink 420 added these to the site, then its rating would definitely go up.
