Extract Labs: Full Review
Extract Labs is perhaps one of the greatest CBD brands on the market right now. It’s a quintessentially American brand founded by veterans and designed for veterans. However, the company has gone above and beyond since its inception to create a vast range of incredible products.
We decided to give these products a try, and below we let you know what we thought. After all, it’s always best to check out reviews on brands before you buy – even if the brand you’re looking at is renowned for its quality! So, stay tuned as we investigate the full product range currently stocked at Extract Labs.
Who Are Extract Labs?
Craig Henderson started Extract Labs a few years ago, and he remains the CEO to this day. Henderson served in the US Army for much of his life, having grown up on a Marine Corps base in California. After retiring, he returned to education and earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Louisville, with a concentration in thermal sciences and renewable energy.
CBD helped Craig to get by with aches and pains, which is why the Extract Labs muscle cream is his favorite product. He decided to bring this to the world with Extract Labs, a brand that now employs over 40 staff members.
The brand is now cGMP certified, meaning that you can rely on these products to be safe and of high quality. Although Extract Labs don’t grow their own hemp, they do purchase from organic farms in the USA. Hemp aside, this brand is committed to using only organic ingredients in all its products.
Of course, Extract Labs tests its products in a top-range facility, ensuring that you know exactly what’s in each product. Every product comes with a bath tracking code, allowing you to view the lab reports for the specific product you bought; this is key to transparency and ensures that you know exactly what you’re consuming every time.
Extract Labs has gone from strength to strength since it entered the market. The products have won numerous awards, including Best Isolate at the 2018 Indo Expo, Best Extractor at the 2019 Indo Expo, and awards for the CBD Muscle Cream in the Men’s Health 2019 CBD Awards. Furthermore, the brand has featured in publications like Esquire, Forbes, Today, and BuzzFeed. There can be no doubt that this brand is the real deal!
By the way, Extract Labs can ship internationally with USPS.
Without further ado, let’s check out the products in more detail.
Extract Labs CBD Products
Extract Labs has an extensive product range. We tried everything we could get our hands on, and here’s what we thought.
Extract Labs CBD Tinctures
The Extract Labs tinctures, created using CO2 extraction, are some of the highest quality on the market. They come in excellent packaging with a dropper bottle. There are tons of products to choose from in this category. Each one has a base of coconut oil, which gives a mild flavour.
There are four options: Broad Spectrum, Pure CBD Isolate, Original, and Original Extra Strength. The two Original tinctures come in four bottle sizes where the strength increases each time. The Original tincture comes in 15ml (500mg), 30ml (1000mg), and 60ml (2000mg). The Extra Strength option is available in 15ml (1000mg), 30ml (2000mg), and 60ml (4000mg).
The other options are as follows:
- Original CBD Tincture: From $30
- Original Extra Strength CBD Tincture:$50
- Pure CBD Isolate Tincture (2000mg):$90
- Broad-Spectrum Tincture (1000mg CBD & CBG): $105
The brand also offers 1000mg and 2000mg flavoured tinctures, in delicious blends like Banana Foster, Raspberry, and Lemon. These are ideal for those who aren’t a fan of the taste of hemp!
Extract Labs CBD Topicals
Compared to some other brands, Extract Labs doesn’t have a huge range of topicals. However, what it does have is high quality. There are two options: Muscle Cream and Face Cream. Both cost $90.
The Muscle Cream comes in a 2.95oz tub with 1500mg of full-spectrum CBD. The product contains beeswax and jojoba, along with menthol to cool the affected area and arnica to reduce inflammation. It’s perfect for sore muscles, and therefore a must-have product for customers who lead an active lifestyle.
Meanwhile, the Face Cream consists of a whipped blend containing shea butter and jojoba. It moisturises the skin while filling the air with pleasant rosemary and lavender scents. Again, it comes in a 2.95oz tub with 1500mg of CBD.
Extract Labs CBD Softgels
Soft gels are considered the best capsules because they’re so easy to swallow. Extract Labs has taken this concept and created two options, both offering tremendous quality.
The first is the Full Spectrum CBD Capsules. These contain 33mg of CBD each, with a full-spectrum formula. Each bottle contains 30 capsules, which equates to 1000mg of CBD. The bottle costs $65. While we think this is an excellent all-round strength, it would be nice to have a few other options available.
The second option is more unique. The PM Formula CBN Capsules contain a blend of 300mg CBD and 900mg CBN (30mg/10mg per pill). The product is based on the anecdotal evidence that CBN functions as a sleep aid. The 900mg PM capsules cost $99.
All Extract Labs capsules are made using vegetable glycerine and gelatine, which means they are not suitable for vegetarians.
Extract Labs CBD Gummies
Extract Labs has one gummy product on offer. The CBD gummies come in the form of vegan-friendly, gluten-free cubes. There is an assortment of flavours that includes strawberry, lemon, and watermelon – they taste so moreish, you won’t want to put them down!
What’s more, they’re made with entirely natural ingredients. There are no artificial flavours or colours, so you can rest assured that the product is high-quality every time.
Each gummy contains 33mg of CBD, just like the capsules. For the Greenshoppers team members that tried them, this strength was the ideal daily amount. The gummies will satisfy your sugar cravings but also provide you with a daily dose of CBD, so it’s no wonder this is one of their most popular products.
One tub contains 30 gummies (1000mg) and costs $65.
Extract Labs CBD Isolate, Shatter, and Crumble
Extract Labs has a decent range of isolate products that you can use for dabbing. The isolate powder comes in several sizes:
- 1g: $25
- 5g:$75
- 25g:$325
- 100g:$900
- 500g:$3000
The powders are 99% pure. However, you can also get your hands on strain-specific crumble or shatter. Depending on your preference of texture, there is a waxy crumble or a brittle shatter, both of which are perfect for dabbing.
Each one comes in a 1g tub with strain-specific terpenes, including AC Diesel, Blue Dream, Gradaddy Purp, and Pineapple Express. The tubs cost $35 each. You can also get a Shatter/Crumble Pack to mix and match the strains of your choice!
Extract Labs CBD Vape Oil
If vaping is your thing, then you should definitely try the CBD vape oil. The brand sells its own battery kit costing $15, but those who already have e-cigarettes can simply purchase the cartridges.
Each CBD cartridge costs $35 and contains 500mg of CBD in 0.5g of liquid. The strain options include Blue Dream, Strawnana, Forbidden Fruit, and more. Extract Labs uses a blend that doesn’t contain vegetable glycerine, propylene glycol, MCT, or other thinning agents. As a result, they are super healthy and won’t harm your body.
Interestingly, the brand also stocks Delta 8 cartridges, which contain THC. Of course, you can only purchase these if you live in a locality with legal marijuana. The delta-8 THC cartridges retail for a higher price of $45 and come in two flavours: Ogre Berry and Sour Ghost.
All in all, Extract Labs offers high-quality and reasonably priced CBD vape cartridges. They are 510-thread and work with most pens.
Extract Labs CBD Bath Bombs
Although technically a topical, Extract Labs classifies its bath bombs separately. There are four Extract Labs bath bombs to choose from, including:
- Bliss
- Breathe
- Deep
- Sleep
They cost $16, which is more than some on the market – but there’s a good reason. These bath bombs contain natural ingredients including dried flowers, herbs, and even gemstones. They are also crafted by hand. Each bath bomb releases delightful scents into the bathroom and infuses your bath with incredible aroma. The colours are also non-staining.
Extract Labs’ bath bombs are probably the best quality we have ever seen, so we fully recommend. Each one contains an impressive 100g of CBD isolate, too.
Check the website to see the scents available.
Extract Labs CBG Products
Surprisingly, Extract Labs has a full section dedicated to CBG. Cannabigerol has become increasingly popular as scientists begin to explore its benefits. Typically, brands offer one product such as a CBG oil. Extract Labs has gone above and beyond, however, offering a variety of CBG-based products.
The range includes:
- CBG Oil (1000mg): $95
- CBG Isolate (1g): $35
- Bulk CBG Isolate:From $130
This is more than you can get from other brands, so we have to say that we’re impressed!
Extract Labs ‘Fetch’ – CBD for Pets
The Fetch line features CBD products designed for your furry friends. The primary product is a CBG tincture for pets, containing 500mg of CBD. Each drop contains 17mg, helping you to measure out what your dog needs. There is also a 1000mg version for much larger dogs, but the concentration is the same; it’s just a larger bottle size. Once again, the extract is infused into organic coconut oil. The prices are:
- 500mg: $30
- 1000mg:$50
You can also pick up a Fetch bandana for your pooch and a Fetch t-shirt for yourself!
