It’s always lovely when a brand feels personal. The CBD industry is full of brands that can feel a bit clinical, with every visit to a CBD site feeling a bit like a doctor’s office. Every once in awhile, we get to review a brand that brings something a little more personal to the market.

Today, we are reviewing Kat’s Naturals, a brand with a little something of the owner in the name. Although you may find several Kat’s Naturals reviews online, we try to be as thorough as possible. Below, we do a run-through of the entire product range. Read on to find out what we thought of Kat’s Naturals.

Who Are Kat’s Naturals?

Headed by Kat Merryfield, Kat’s Naturals is a CBD brand that grew out of Tennessee. Kat’s humble beginnings were right in her backyard, where she grew hemp on her farm. After a while, she began to produce CBD oil.

To this day, the Kat’s Naturals brand uses hemp grown in America under Farm Bill compliant conditions. Having served in the military for 13 years, Kat’s husband ensures that a portion of the profits goes to the Atlanta Organization Operation Rally Point. This charity assists military veterans in readjusting to civilian life.

Kat’s Naturals still keeps family and community at the heart of the brand. A personal touch like this is always lovely to see.

Kat’s Naturals CBD Products

The Kat’s Naturals CBD website is beautifully organised into sections so you can find everything you’re looking for. The brand sells everything from CBD tinctures to ‘activated hemp.’ Since smoking hemp flower is not legal in the UK, we won’t be covering this product today. We also won’t be covering the vape products in this review.

Kat’s Naturals CBD Oils

Kat’s Naturals separates the CBD oil into several categories depending on the specific ingredients and the intended effects. Product lines include Heal, Naked, Relax, Metabolize, Balance, and Restore.

Naked and Heal are the brand’s bestsellers. Both have a hemp seed oil base, but the difference is that Heal also contains peppermint essential oil while Naked is plain CBD. Both are THC-free oil, allowing you to take CBD without any concerns. Both of these options contain 1500mg of CBD per fluid ounce, available in quantities of 1-3oz.

Relax is a much weaker option, with just 300mg of CBD per ounce. This one contains wild orange essential oil and hops essential oil to help you relax. The others all contain various essential oils and amounts of CBD. We compiled a summary list below to help you choose:

  • Relax: 300mg CBD per oz; orange flavour; THC-free
  • Metabolize: 500mg CBD per oz; grapefruit, lemon & ginger flavour; THC-free
  • Balance: 750mg CBD per oz; peppermint flavour; full spectrum
  • Naked: 1500mg CBD per oz; natural flavour; THC-free
  • Heal: 1500mg CBD per oz; peppermint flavour; THC-free
  • Restore: 1500mg CBD per oz; peppermint flavour; THC-free

Prices range between $35 and $165 depending on the bottle size.

Kat’s Naturals CBD Edibles

Kat’s Naturals has some of the most unique edibles we have seen. They are made with activated hemp, which is also sold separately on the site. However, hemp flower naturals are a bit risky in the UK, where they could be mistaken for cannabis. We suggest instead that you buy the delicious ready-made CBD chocolate.

There is a 70% dark chocolate and a peppermint white chocolate option. Each bar contains 100mg of CBD in total, working out at 8.5mg per square. Compared to the standard CBD gummies, we absolutely loved these products.

Each bar costs just $10.

Kat’s Naturals CBD Topicals

The Kat’s Naturals topical range is quite extensive, so we broke it down into standard topicals and skincare products. The brand has covered all the main bases in terms of CBD cream.

There is a Professional CBD Cream that comes in a handy click dose applicator. The 40ml bottle contains 600mg of CBD, which can be conveniently measured out in doses of 15mg. Ingredients include emu oil, frankincense, and lavender for a pleasant scent.

Alternatively, there are two options with more unique ingredients. There is a CBD cream with capsaicin and one with arnica. These two products are designed to treat aches and pains, with warming and cooling components that can soothe mild pains.

Some brands offer a roll-on for this kind of product, which would be useful. However, the click dose applicator is quite cool, too.

Kat’s Naturals CBD Skin Care

kat's naturals

Kat’s Naturals sells under a brand called Fhenix Skin Care for most of its range. CBD for skin is becoming quite popular, and we were impressed with the Kat’s Naturals/Fhenix Skin Care range.

There is a Kat’s Naturals skin serum, formulated with various plant oils, essential oils, and 250mg of CBD. It comes in a dropper bottle like the tinctures, which you can apply to the skin easily.

Meanwhile, the Fhenix products appear to be more luxurious. There is an anti-fatigue Eye Cream, Daytime Replenishing Cream, a Nighttime Repair Cream, and a Face Mask. Our favourite product was definitely the mask. As well as CBD, it’s unfused with cellulose to promote a healthy and happy glow.

Kat’s Naturals CBD for Pets

CBD for pets is another popular branch of the industry. Kat’s Naturals sells a CBD oil for dogs, cats, and horses. It comes in a 300mg strength, though, so you might find it challenging to dose a horse! Rather than hemp seed oil, the pet oil uses an olive oil base. With just 0.5mg of CBD per drop, you can easily give your pet the right amount of CBD.

Kat’s Naturals also sells from a brand called Cannivore, specialising in CBD oil for dogs. Just like the human oils, these are separated into different kinds of effects, including Rally, Comfort, and Mend. Check the label to find out what each product does.

Kat’s Naturals Pros and Cons

Kat’s Naturals Pros

  • The website has a great layout and is easy to navigate. Also, the products have an excellent design.
  • Lab reports are available for all products, confirming quality and safety.
  • There is a good range of products. We especially like the variety of CBD oils.

Kat’s Naturals Cons

  • Some of the prices might be a little expensive for some users.
  • Kat’s Naturals doesn’t ship to the UK.

Summary of Kat’s Naturals

We don’t have much bad to say about Kat’s Naturals. This is a brand dedicated to bettering the community, and it has excellent products to show for it. We like that the company grew from humble beginnings into such a powerhouse, and yet it has retained that personal feel.
