Love Hemp: Full Review
It’s rare to find a CBD brand based in the UK. Despite the fact that there’s a growing market for cannabidiol, there are disappointingly few British brands compared to the options you find in the States. Luckily, the brands we do have here tend to be super high quality.
Love Hemp is one of the brands leading the way in the British hemp industry. It calls itself the #1 seller of CBD oil in the UK, but is this strictly true? We explain all in this Love Hemp review.
Who Is Love Hemp?
Tony Calamita and Thomas Rowland started Love Hemp in 2015, making this quite an old brand as far as the UK CBD market goes. The founders were incredibly innovative when they decided to start the brand, and perhaps their long experience in the industry is partly what makes this brand so great.
Love Hemp UK dedicates itself to selling high-quality, THC-free CBD. It’s made using European-sourced hemp in strict lab conditions. This means that you know you can trust it and that you don’t have to worry about consuming CBD.
Love Hemp has an excellent website and an outstanding social media presence. Really, this brand ticks most of the boxes. However, one downside is that it doesn’t publish third-party lab reports. We always recommend that our readers look out for these, but they don’t seem to be anywhere on the site.
Nevertheless, it’s hard to doubt the legitimacy of this brand when it has so many satisfied customers.
Love Hemp CBD Products
Love Hemp CBD products come in many forms, including the first CBD water ever sold in the UK. The water is sold through a separate website, and you can also pick it up in Holland & Barrett. Below, we cover the rest of the product range and let you know what we thought.
Love Hemp CBD Oils
The Love Hemp CBD oil is fairly standard. The oil has a coconut MCT oil base with the potential to add flavour to your oil. There is a Natural, Peppermint, and Orange flavoured CBD oil available to purchase. The strengths range from 300mg 3% oil to 4000mg 40% CBD oil. This range is excellent and allows everybody to get the most out of CBD. The prices stretch from £19.99 to £199.99.
Love Hemp now also stocks a HUGE option with 10,000mg CBD. It comes in a 100ml container, though, so it’s not necessarily too strong. This version costs £399.99, meaning it’s quite an initial setback.
Alternatively, you can buy the oil in a spray dropper. It’s the same as the regular tincture; only the spray bottle is more convenient for some users – it makes it easier to measure out the dose. The strengths for this one go from 400mg to 1200mg, with prices starting at £19.99.
Love Hemp CBD Edibles
Back in the day, Love Hemp used to stock a couple of CBD edible options and nothing else. Now, the CBD edible range is quite broad.
Of course, Love Hemp sells gummy bears and other gummies infused with CBD. The gummy bears are sugar free and come in an assortment of flavours, with 10mg of CBD per bear. The Love Hemp Gummy bears are reasonably priced, beginning at £14.99 for 40 bears and stretching up to £49.99 for 200 bears.
Love Hemp also sells vegan jelly domes in smaller tubs, meaning everyone can enjoy these products.
Alternatively, Love Hemp sells CBD chocolate. The chocolate bites are balls of delicious chocolate. You can get them in regular, malt chocolate, or dark chocolate varieties, in either small or large bags.
Love Hemp CBD Skin Care
In terms of skincare, Love Hemp sells two products. There’s a CBD salve designed to care for your entire body, packed with organic ingredients like beeswax, argan oil, rosehip oil, and more. It smells pleasant, but it isn’t the most luxurious moisturiser we’ve seen simply because of the texture. The tub contains 300mg of CBD and costs £29.99.
Alternatively, beauty lovers can buy the CBD mask. Infused with hemp cellulose and nano-emulsified CBD, the Love Hemp face mask makes your skin glow and look super healthy. It’s cruelty-free and vegan, too, so anyone can use it! Each mask costs £6.99.
Love Hemp CBD Vape Products
Vaping CBD is pretty popular in the UK, and Love Hemp has tapped into this market with a range of CBD e-liquid. You can buy a mini e-cigarette on the site, as well as batteries. They work well with the Love Hemp CBD-infused e-liquids, which can be added to any e-liquid.
Love Hemp stocks two varieties: Regular and Pure CBD. Both come in a range of strengths and flavours, including Apple Cherry Sherbet, Blueberry Menthol, Grape Kush, Strawberry Cool, and Cherry Coolada.
If dabbing is more your thing, Love Hemp sells a CBD isolate for £7.49. It comes in crystal form and can easily be vaporized or added to other products. We also recommend checking out the terpsolate, a terpene-infused version of the popular crystal isolate.
Bottom Line on Love Hemp: 8/10
Love Hemp is an excellent British brand. It’s rare to see British CBD brands reaching fame, and yet this is something Love Hemp has managed to achieve – we can’t help but respect the brand for its commitment to superb quality.
Love Hemp continues to inspire other brands to try and match this superior quality, with incredible packaging and products that live up to its reputation. It’s hard to fault Love Hemp; we just wish lab reports were provided on the site.
