Ma CBD: Full Review
Ma CBD gets its name from the Chinese character má, which means hemp. As most of our readers will know, CBD comes from hemp plants. Ma CBD aims to take CBD back to its roots with natural ingredients.
In this review, we are looking at the products available from Ma CBD UK. This brand specialises in vapes. So those of you who vape are sure to love this brand. Let’s find out more about these products.
Who Is Ma CBD?
Ma CBD is a British CBD brand based in London, England. It specialises in vaping, with a range of CBD e-liquids and vaping devices to match.
Uniquely, Ma CBD gets its hemp and CBD from farms in America. Usually, British brands source CBD from Europe, since regulations regarding the maximum THC content are different. However, Ma CBD claims that all of its products contain less than 0.2% THC, as per UK guidelines.
Strangely, elsewhere on the site, it says that the hemp comes from the EU. Perhaps Ma CBD sources from multiple farms.
Ma CBD uses CO2 extraction to make the products. Experts widely believe this to be one of the cleanest and most effective methods, so that’s a tick in our book.
There’s not a lot of information about the brand’s founders, but this isn’t strictly necessary. As long as the products are good, there’s no issue. So, let’s investigate.
Ma CBD Products
Although Ma CBD specialises in vaping CBD products, you can also get a CBD oil. Interestingly, Ma CBD advertises a THC e-liquid on the website, even though high quantities of THC are illegal in the UK. It doesn’t seem that you can actually buy it, though – at least not directly from the site. For now, let’s focus on the CBD products.
Ma CBD E-Liquid
CBD vape juice is becoming an increasingly popular product. As more people turn to CBD vaping, more and more brands are adding CBD e-liquids to their collections. But since Ma CBD specialises in vaping, these oils should be some of the best.
These CBD e-liquids contain a mixture of propylene glycol (PG) and vegetable glycerine (VG). They come in 10ml bottles with a dropper, so they can easily be added to any vaporiser of your choice.
Each e-liquid contains 500mg of CBD, but they come in different flavours. Ma CBD has opted for the flavours of various cannabis strains. This means that not everyone will enjoy the tastes of these e-liquids, as they have an underlying flavour of hemp. It costs £29.
The flavours are as follows:
- Lemon Haze
- NY Diesel
- Blueberry
- Peach
There is also an Ultra Gold range of 1500mg options costing £25, in the following flavours:
- Sweet Leaf
- Strawberry
- Bali Blend
- Blueberry
- Mango
- Peach
Ma CBD Vape
Those new to vaping can buy some of the equipment from Ma CBD. The CBD vape range includes a Starter Kit, which features a steel-glass vaporiser, a high-performance power unit, and an e-liquid of your choice. For £39, you get a 23% discount on all the items combined.
You can also buy a power bank replacement for £25.85. The Ma CBD vape is a standard 510-thread that can be charged by any USB. The power bank provides hundreds of recharges. At the full battery, it can give over 400 puffs.
Ma CBD also stocks vape pen replacement tanks in all the above flavours. Each one costs just £4.50.
Ma CBD Oil Drops
If you’re not into vaping or if you just want a way to top up, Ma CBD sells a CBD oil. There are two options available in drastically different strengths – we sort of wish there was an in-between option.
Ma CBD doesn’t specify what carrier oil is used. Regardless, the oil doesn’t taste unbearably bad.
You can get the drops in 500mg (£29) or 2000mg (£70). Both are full spectrum.
Bottom Line on Ma CBD: 6/10
Ma CBD is a good brand for vapers, so it seems. Several options will appeal to those who enjoy the taste of hemp and terpenes. The pricing isn’t bad, and you can also save money by buying in bulk.
That being said, this isn’t a top-tier brand, in our opinion. First of all, we didn’t see any lab reports. It’s strange that Ma CBD advertises THC oil, too.
If you want to check out a different brand, make sure you read our Hempura review; Hempura is one of our favourite CBD branks in the UK, and they offer vapes alongside many other products.
