Purity CBD: Full Review

There are now hundreds of CBD brands on the market. You will encounter endless search results when you search for CBD, making it complicated to make a decision. Instead of spending hours clicking through websites, you can check out Greenshoppers.

Here, we post up-to-date reviews of CBD brands, ensuring that you almost make the best decision possible. You can view various reviews all in one place, saving you time and money.

Today, we are taking a look at Purity CBD. There is also an American brand with this name, but we are taking a look at Purity CBD UK in this review.

Who Is Purity CBD?

Purity CBD is a brand focused on phytocannabinoid-rich (PCR) hemp products. According to the website, this brand grows hemp in Colorado, USA. However, it is a UK brand that stocks products in Britain, making it somewhat unique.

Purity CBD grows products under the strict quality standards of the USA but ensures that each and every one contains less than 0.2% THC, under the guidelines of the UK. Each product is full-spectrum, containing cannabinoids like CBG, CBN, CBC, and more.

There is not much information about Purity CBD on the website. Unfortunately, we don’t know who started this brand, when it was founded, or what extraction process is used.

Purity CBD conducts lab reports, and the results are linked in the product descriptions. This is great, as it proves the cannabinoid content and safety of the oils. The Purity lab tests are quite thorough, testing for residual solvents, pesticides, and heavy metals as well as terpenes and cannabinoids.

Now let’s take a look at the products to see whether they’re any good.

Purity CBD Products

There are several CBD products available from Purity, including CBD oils. We tried them out, and here is what we thought.

Purity CBD Oil

Purity CBD Oil

Purity CBD sells several varieties of CBD oil. The 40% oil is this brand’s primary product, featuring full-spectrum hemp extract. Unfortunately, the brand doesn’t specify what the carrier oil is, which is a shame.

Purity CBD oils contain cannabinoids, terpenes, amino acids, and more, but the plant waxes, chlorophyll, and THC is removed. As a result, the flavour of these oils is quite strong. Expect a potent, bitter hemp taste; this is pretty much unavoidable.

Since Purity uses a PCR hemp oil, it can be quite thick and viscous. The brand recommends running it under a warm tap before use, loosening up the oil, and allowing you to correctly use the dropper. It’s slightly annoying having to do this before every use, but it’s not too much of a hassle.

The options available include:

  • 40% 1ml (400mg): £30
  • 10% 10ml (1000mg): £50
  • 20% 10ml (2000mg): £100
  • 40% 5ml (2000mg): £100
  • 40% 10ml (4000mg): £200

Purity CBD Topicals

Purity CBD Topicals

As far as CBD topicals go, Purity CBD stocks two varieties of CBD balm. The brand calls them Aurora and Twilight; the Aurora cream is designed for day-time use, whereas Twilight is intended for the evening.

The balms contain beeswax, providing the thick, balmy texture. In the Aurora balm, there is also sweet orange oil, providing a pleasant scent and also reducing dark spots on the skin. Purity CBD has also added anti-bacterial and anti-microbial agents like ginger root oil and vanilla. All in all, this balm smells delightful and is super effective. It contains 300mg of CBD.

The Twilight balm is similar, but it contains ingredients like frankincense and citronella. Just like the Aurora balm, it contains 300mg of PCR CBD.

Something we like about the CBD balms is that they come in sticks. It’s super easy to apply them; just pop the lid off and rub them on the desired area of skin. Each one costs £24.99.

Purity CBD Soft Gels

Finally, Purity CBD offers soft gels. The ingredients include glycerine, so this product is not vegan-friendly. Nevertheless, they are an excellent product for those of us who eat meat.

Each Purity CBD capsule contains 10mg of the brand’s PCR CBD oil. These capsules are super easy to take, easy to swallow because they are soft gels. With a full-spectrum formula, you benefit from multiple cannabinoids and terpenes.

Most brands have 30-60 capsules in their containers. Purity CBD has opted for a 100-count tub, offering a long supply of CBD capsules. With 10mg per capsule, that’s 1000mg. The tub costs £79.99, which is mid-range in terms of price.

Bottom Line on Purity CBD: 5/10

Purity CBD is not one of the best brands out there. Although it provides lab reports and has a couple of products, we don’t think this brand is top-drawer. The website is a little unprofessional and low-market, and it’s confusing giving the brand the same name as another brand in the US.

Furthermore, the product range is really small. Purity CBD will struggle to compete in the UK CBD market with a product range like this. Plus, the products are pretty expensive; you can get more quality for less elsewhere.

If you’re completely stuck for a brand to try, make sure you check out CBDistillery. We gave this brand a 10/10 for its high-quality products. You can learn more about it in our full CBDistillery review.
