Reading reviews from independent sites and reviewers can be a great way to investigate CBD brands. Since the CBD market isn’t regulated, it can be tricky to find a brand you can 100% trust. Some British consumers have taken to the High Street to buy their CBD in shops like Boots. However, there is a limited selection here compared to what you can find online.
Before you jump into buying CBD from the first brand you see, take the time to browse our review section and find a product you like.
Today, we are checking out Quanta CBD, a brand that does its best to stick out from the crowd. Could this be the brand for you? Find out below.
Founded in 2017 and based in Los Angeles, Quanta CBD is a little different from other brands. This company uses quantum physics to stabilise and manipulate electron spin in natural elements, including cannabinoids. The result is what the Quanta terms ‘Polarised Cannabis.’
In theory, Quanta has improved the bioavailability of CBD. Many users lament the fact that very little CBD you ingest can actually be used by the body. The technology is also said to charge elements and produce a reaction in the body that causes an energy boost. Consuming Quanta, in other words, is supposed to increase your energy levels.
The company is currently headed by CEO Eric Rice, who says that polarised cannabis is the way forward in the industry. Perhaps he is correct – only time will tell!
Quanta currently only sells two products: A Muscle Rub and a Vape. We can see how polarised cannabis would fit nicely into these two consumption methods. Let’s see what the Greenshoppers team thought.
Most CBD products start with the fundamental product: A CBD tincture. However, Quanta CBD skipped this step and went straight to a muscle rub. More recently, the brand added a vape to its range, too.
The Quanta CBD Muscle Rub is the brand’s flagship product. On top of the cannabidiol, the rub also contains arnica, turmeric, and a range of essential oils chosen for anti-inflammatory effects. The ingredients work synergistically to increase circulation, reduce inflammation, and ultimately, ease pain. Plus, the essential oils make it smell quite pleasant! We also liked that the product isn’t too greasy, which some topical CBD salves can be.
On the site, Quanta says that its customers have experienced relief from a range of ailments, including arthritis and fibromyalgia, by using this muscle rub. The website does clearly state that these claims are not FDA-approved, but it’s important for consumers not to get swept up in these suggestions. What works for someone else may not work for you; it’s essential to have realistic ideas about CBD topicals.
The Muscle Rub comes in the following strengths and sizes:
Quanta CBD now stocks vape products, too. The vape pen carries a clarification in light of recent illnesses sparked by vape pens. These health risks are associated with thickening agents like Vitamin E acetate, which Quanta does not use. The brand also doesn’t use propylene glycol (PG), another product that has come under scrutiny. The ingredients appear to be safe and effective, causing less worry about the dangers of vaping.
Quanta sells a disposable vape pen containing an MCT oil-based e-liquid and a blend of essential oils for flavour. The cartridge contains 500mg of hemp-derived CBD oil – of course, polarised. Quanta says that the pen lasts for around a month with daily use, after which it can be thrown away.
Interestingly, the vape website is also the place where you can buy bundles of both the muscle rub and the vape pen:
Right now, the Quanta CBD products seem a little expensive. You can find topicals for much cheaper, and even at higher strengths! Sure, Quanta CBD employs quantum physics in its method, but there is not much scientific research to back up the claim that using this science actually works. Who knows? The brand could genuinely be onto something here, and if you want to give it a try, then, by all means, go ahead!
However, the products do remain out of the price range of many. Plus, there isn’t a standard product such as a CBD oil, which many consumers will be on the lookout for. We’re sure Quanta will continue to expand and add to its product line in the future, but right now it’s pretty small.
Quanta doesn’t ship to the UK, so our British readers will have to look elsewhere for a scientific, futuristic CBD product like this. However, our American readers are free to give Quanta a shot because the products are legal in all 50 states. Feel free to drop us a comment and let us know how you found Quanta CBD – does the polarised cannabis really make a difference? We’re dying to know!
