Nature’s Aid is a well-known supplement brand that’s been in operation since the 1980s. And now, it also stocks CBD! In today’s review, we look at the range of CBD products you can pick up from Nature’s Aid.
Nature’s Aid Pros
Nature’s Aid Cons
If Nature’s Aid doesn’t sound like the right brand for you, make sure you take a look at other brands by using the ‘Reviews’ tab at the top of this page.
You may have heard of Nature’s Aid before, and that’s because this isn’t a CBD brand. Instead, it’s a company that sells a range of supplements. On the website, you can find vitamins and supplements for every member of the family and every ailment imaginable.
And now, following other health shops like Holland & Barrett, Nature’s Aid sells CBD. In this review, we check out the Nature’s Aid CBD range. There are a couple of product types on offer, including a spray and a topical. Let’s check it out.
Nature’s Aid was established in 1981 and has been supplying supplements ever since. It’s a well-known British brand, and that raises confidence for people who are new to buying CBD.
The brand’s manufacturing facility is in Preston, Lancashire. It’s a 430,000 square feet, state-of-the-art facility that adheres to good manufacturing practice (GMP), meaning you can definitely trust it. Furthermore, it’s the first UK brand to be granted a Traditional Herbal Registration (THR).
Below, we investigate the range of CBD products available on the Nature’s Aid website.
Nature’s Aid has a good range of CBD products for a brand that isn’t solely dedicated to CBD. There is a spray, a topical, and a daily dose product. Below, we tell you what we thought of these products.
Nature’s Aid carries its own CBD oil that it makes from organic industrial hemp. The brand uses CO2 extraction to create the CBD extract, which contains a full spectrum of cannabinoids and terpenes.
The Nature’s Aid CBD oil spray uses MCT oil as the carrier. Many experts believe MCT oil to be one of the best carriers for CBD, as it may increase effectiveness due to the way you digest it. It also has a mild flavour compared to carriers like hemp seed oil.
However, Nature’s Aid has also added peppermint oil for a light, subtle flavour that’s tastier than other options on the market. It makes this product quite refreshing!
The Nature’s Aid CBD spray is vegan-friendly. The spray bottle makes it easy for users to transport the container without fearing leaks, which is something we always love about spray bottles.
There are three strengths to choose from:
The CBD sachet is a pretty cool product – at least in theory. It provides 10mg of CBD as a daily dose, meaning you don’t have to measure the CBD out yourself using an oil. All you need to do is tear open the foil sachet and squeeze the oil out under your tongue.
The sachets contain a spearmint-flavoured oil, ensuring they leave a refreshing taste in your mouth with each use.
The box contains a one-week supply of seven sachets. That’s 70mg of CBD in total, costing just £9.99.
There is one CBD topical available at Nature’s Aid, and it’s a warming gel. It’s a vegan-friendly product, too, which is always great news.
The gel contains menthol and capsicum. When you apply the gel to the skin, the warming sensation it creates is supposed to bring relief to aching muscles and joints. It’s a subtle feeling, but it can work for mild pains. The menthol also has a potent and familiar smell.
The tub is 50g, so it’s small enough to carry on the go. It provides 50mg of CBD in total, so you get a small amount of CBD with each application.
Nature’s Aid is a tried and trusted brand with a fairly good rating on TrustPilot and other review sites. But would you go there for CBD? The CBD range is quite small, and that’s where Nature’s Aid loses a point for us. What’s more, there are no lab reports, and many customers report long waiting times for their products.
Nevertheless, the products that are available seem to be quite good. The oils have a nice flavour and are apparently effective, and they come in a few different strengths.
Nature’s Aid probably wouldn’t be our first choice for CBD, but it’s also not a bad brand. If you want to take a look at more CBD brands and products, make sure you read our guide to the strongest CBD oil in the UK.
