Hempura Full Review

Shopping for CBD can be daunting when there are so many brands out there to choose from. With CBD being a currently unregulated industry in the UK, it’s hard to know who to trust. Luckily, at Greenshoppers we are here to tell you who are the reputable companies that are worth investing your money in.

Here is a complete review of the Hempura brand of CBD products.

Who Is Hempura?

Launched in 2017, Hempura is relatively new on the CBD scene. However, they have quickly become popular among consumers in the UK. Having registered with the Cannabis Trades Association UK (CTAUK), Hempura is definitely a brand that you can place your trust in.

Hempura’s products are made using hemp grown in Eastern Europe, meaning they contain only trace amounts of THC. That being said, they prefer to use whole-plant extracts rather than isolates, allowing for the entourage effect to take place thanks to the range of cannabinoids and terpenes in their products. The CBD is extracted using supercritical CO2 extraction, among other processes that they talk a little more about on their site.

All of their products are made using batch numbers which are linked to lab reports. These third-party lab results verify the quality and safety of their oils and can be found in their database on the website. Furthermore, it is very easy to reach out to them to ask any questions if you are uncertain.

One of the best things about Hempura is how informative they are. They offer a free, downloadable guide to CBD and have a Knowledge Centre on their site to inform the public about everything CBD. This level of education is exactly what the CBD industry needs.

And another huge bonus is that they do free shipping to anywhere in the UK. Talk about a bargain!

Hempura CBD Products

Hempura has quite a range of products, which we will go into more detail about below. All of them come in lovely, detailed packaging that looks very professional and elegant.

CBD Oils

Hempura Full-Spectrum CBD Oil
Hempura’s full-spectrum CBD oil contains a full range of cannabinoids, terpenes, and phytonutrients from the Cannabis sativa plant, but still contains less than 0.05% THC. This product is gluten-free and vegan friendly, meaning that anybody can take it! This oil contains no artificial colours or flavours, meaning that some consumers might find the taste of it quite unpleasant, but it is nevertheless effective. Each oil comes in a 10ml bottle, equating to roughly 200 drops. There are several strength options:

  • 250mg (2.5%): £19.99
  • 500mg (5%): £36.99
  • 1000mg (10%): £64.99

Hempura Broad-Spectrum CBD Oil
This product is similar to the full-spectrum CBD oil in that it is vegan, gluten-free, filtered, and contains no artificial flavours or colours. Once again, this means the taste could be off-putting. The difference is that their broad-spectrum oil contains only cannabinoids and terpenes, and the range of cannabinoids has been reduced. There is still plenty of CBD packed into the bottle, but there is absolutely zero THC, and only trace amounts of other cannabinoids. This makes the oil a little weaker than its full-spectrum counterpart but is ideal if you’re worried about ingesting other cannabinoids. There are two different strength options available:

  • 250mg (2.5%): £19.99
  • 500mg (5%): £36.99

CBD Capsules

Hempura’s CBD Capsules contain a total of 300 mg per box – with 30 capsules, this means you’re getting 10mg of CBD per capsule. True to Hempura’s vision of the entourage effect, there are also a few other cannabinoids in there, as well as terpenes, flavonoids, and phytonutrients. Capsules are a lot simpler to take than CBD oil, and they also lack the distinctive taste of hemp, making them a great option for everybody: You simply take one capsule twice per day. While these capsules aren’t vegan, they are made using HPMC which makes them friendly for vegetarians. Unfortunately, the capsules only come in this one strength (300mg), which retails at £19.99.

CBD Edibles

CBD edibles usually come in the form of gummies, but Hempura has gone for something a little different: White Chocolates. Each packet contains 20 capsule-shaped white chocolates packed full of CBD, trace amounts of other cannabinoids, and terpenes. Of course, these chocolates are not to be eaten by vegans as they are made using milk, and perhaps they are not the best for people trying to cut down on sugar intake. Similarly to how you would take CBD oil, you take these chocolates sublingually – pop a chocolate under your tongue and let it melt in your mouth while the CBD is absorbed. Hempura recommends cutting them in half and taking one half in the morning and another half later in the day. There are three strength options available:

  • 200mg (10mg per chocolate): £19.99
  • 500mg (25mg per chocolate): £36.99
  • 1000mg (50mg per chocolate): £64.99

CBD E-Liquid

hempura reviews

Hempura Broad-Spectrum CBD Vape Liquid is perfect for those who would prefer to vape their CBD. Hempura recommends vaping 0.5ml of the liquid each day for a good dose of CBD. As a broad-spectrum product, these e-liquids contain CBD alongside small amounts of other cannabinoids and terpenes. The terpene profile includes linalool, myrcene, beta-pinene, limonene, terpinolene, and beta-caryophyllene. Consumers say they enjoy the taste, which is natural and citrusy, provided by the terpenes and no added flavourings. These vape liquids are also gluten and vegan friendly, to be used by everyone. Hempura has linked a vape device from Amazon that they recommend for newcomers, so be sure to check that out if you want to get into vaping your CBD. Their vape liquid comes in two strengths:

  • 250mg (2.5%): £19.99
  • 500mg (5%): £36.99

Final Thoughts on Hempura: 10/10

Hempura has a TrustPilot rating of 5 stars, and they are quick to brag about that when you enter their site! Although they are a fairly new company, consumers are clearly loving what they bring to the table, and we can see why. There is a decent range of products and all are of extremely high quality. Plus, they are incredibly informative and make newcomers to the CBD world feel very safe and knowledgeable.

It seems that buying from Hempura will put you in trustworthy hands.
