Full Fiddler’s Elbow Grease Review
Now that Britons everywhere are using daily CBD products, more brands are appearing on the market. Fiddler’s Elbow Grease is one of the many companies grown out of English soil, stocking a few organic products.
In this review, we investigate the Fiddler’s Elbow Grease CBD products. Currently, the brand sells oils, e-liquids, topicals, and hemp tea. In this product review, we take a look at the oils and e-liquids that the brand sells.
By the way, Fiddler’s Elbow Grease also sells products from other brands on its website. However, we want to focus on the products that the team makes and sells itself. The brand prides itself on being natural and rustic, but do the products hold up?
Who Is Fiddler’s Elbow Grease?
Fiddler’s Elbow Grease has been around since 2017. Sian Phillips, the company’s founder, had to retire from her profession as a performing violinist due to fibromyalgia. She turned to cannabidiol as a way to help – which is perhaps why the brand is so centred around topical products. Now, she crafts these products with others in mind, working to introduce others to cannabidiol.
The brand sources CBD from organic growers. The team working at Fiddler’s Elbow Grease produce, pack, and label all of the products themselves, working from the company base in Oxfordshire.
The website has an extended FAQ where you can find out pretty much everything you need to know. It’s here that we discovered that Fiddler’s Elbow Grease is against animal testing and sources ingredients from other cruelty-free companies.
Unfortunately, the things we didn’t discover include lab testing. We couldn’t see any evidence of lab testing, and we usually encourage our readers to buy from brands that provide lab analyses for the products.
Fiddler’s Elbow Grease CBD Products
Fiddler’s Elbow Grease stocks a variety of products, some of which contain CBD while others don’t. The website is organised pretty terribly, and we found it hard to see what we were looking for. Below are the CBD products we could actually find.
Fiddler’s Elbow Grease CBD E-Liquid
Fiddler’s Elbow Grease sells a few different vape e-liquids containing CBD. The e-liquids are apparently made from CBD oil, which is slightly concerning. According to our knowledge of CBD vaping, you should try to avoid CBD vape juice that contains oils, as inhaling oil is bad for your respiratory health. It would be better to use vegetable glycerine as most other companies do.
Each vape juice comes in a 10ml bottle, allowing you to add the e-liquid to your vaporizer as you want to enjoy it. Fiddler’s Elbow Grease sells four strengths. The first two – 100mg and 200mg – come flavoured like cannabis strains. These include:
- Girl Scout Cookies
- Gorilla Glue
- Granddaddy Purple
- Mango Kush
- Zkittlez
There is also a no terpene option. Furthermore, you can buy Boost options that contain 500mg and 1000mg of CBD, respectively. These are flavourless, designed to simply add more CBD.
- CBD Vape E-Liquid 100mg: £9.95
- CBD Vape E-Liquid 200mg: £18.95
- CBD Vape E-Liquid Boost 500mg: £22.95
- CBD Vape E-Liquid Boost 1000mg: £39.95
Fiddler’s Elbow Grease CBD Oil
Fiddler’s Elbow Grease sells full-spectrum CBD oil in a couple of strengths. Each one contains hemp seed oil, which has a nutty taste to it. The hemp seed oil also contains essential fatty acids and is considered a great dietary aid.
Admittedly, there’s nothing special about these CBD tinctures. They’re pretty standard.
Each oil contains 10ml, but you can also get all three strengths in 1ml sample bottles.
- CBD Oil 250mg: £9.95
- CBD Oil 500mg: £19.95
- CBD Oil 1000mg: £37.95
Fiddler’s Elbow Grease CBD & CBG Vape E-Liquid
We haven’t really heard of a CBG oil e-liquid before, so props to Fiddler’s Elbow Grease for supplying a unique product here. Again, our main issue is that this e-liquid has an oil base, making it quite dangerous to use!
The CBD & CBG e-liquid contains 110mg – we assume this is a total cannabinoid content, but it’s not specified. It comes in the same terpene profiles as the regular CBD e-liquids but costs £12.95 for the 10ml bottle.
Final Thoughts on Fiddler’s Elbow Grease: 5/10
Fiddler’s Elbow Grease is a far cry from some of the other brands out there. The packaging is lovely, and the brand’s homely and rustic feel are positives, but the products are a bit lacking. Alongside a website that’s hard to navigate, Fiddler’s Elbow Grease is marked down for its lack of lab reports.
Our biggest qualm is definitely the use of MCT oil in its e-liquids. Brands should know by now to use thinning agents, if not basing the e-liquid entirely on glycerine. If you choose to buy from this brand, then we recommend sticking to topicals or tinctures rather than vaping potentially dangerous substances.
