Love CBD: Full Review

CBD has only recently exploded. In the past couple of years, the British public has discovered more about CBD, leading to an expansion of the market. New brands are appearing all the time, selling unique products and high-potency CBD to hook in customers.

However, there are some brands that have been around for years – even before CBD was big. One of these brands is Love CBD, a homegrown British brand that tapped into the market long before the CBD boom.

Often, older brands like this are overlooked by new and exciting companies. But we think Love CBD seems pretty great, so we decided to give its products a try to see if they can still remain top-of-the-range in today’s market. In today’s review, we will be giving you a walkthrough of the entire Love CBD range.

Who Is Love CBD?

Love CBD was started up in 2014 in Newmarket, Suffolk. The founders realised that CBD was becoming a big deal in the US, and wanted to offer this compound to British consumers. At the time, however, most CBD products were made from industrial hemp waste. Love CBD was one of the pioneering brands which sought to find suppliers in Europe who would provide fresh hemp flowers.

To this day, Love CBD sources its CBD from multiple farms across Europe. All the hemp is grown without the use of pesticides, herbicides, or chemicals.

Love CBD is an old hand in the CBD industry, and it’s obvious that the company knows what it’s doing. The website is professional and easy to use, and all of the products appear to be well-thought-out. The company is family-run, which is always nice to hear.

It’s clear that Love CBD values its customers. There is a points system on the site that rewards loyal customers with discounts. The more you buy, the more points you earn, and the greater the discount on your next purchase.

Love CBD currently has a decent range of products. But are they any good? Let’s take a look.

Love CBD Products

At the moment, Love CBD stocks a range of different products, including oils, capsules, a balm, and some e-liquids. The oil range is by far the most extensive, though.

Love CBD Oil

Love CBD Oil

There are three types of Love CBD oil.

The first is the Love CBD Spray. This is a standard CBD oil containing 100% natural ingredients. It consists of a full-spectrum hemp extract suspended in coconut MCT oil. A full profile of cannabinoids and terpenes is contained within the oil, but there are only small amounts of the phytocannabinoids other than CBD. The lab results detect trace amounts of CBD, but only tiny quantities. The Love CBD spray is vegan-friendly.

Secondly is the Love CBD Entourage Oil Spray. This product capitalises on the entourage effect, which many CBD users seek to make use of. Love CBD describes this as the “ultimate cannabis cocktail.”

The Entourage Oil contains cannabis extracts from hemp strains grown in the Netherlands, Lithuania, Slovenia, and Croatia. It contains a large number of cannabinoids, including CBD, CBDA, CBGand CBC. It also contains terpenes like beta-caryophyllene, myrcene, limonene, and alpha-pinene. This is where it differs from the Love CBD Spray, which is more basic. Another difference is that the Entourage Oil is suspended in olive oil as the carrier,

Finally, there is the Love CBD Dutch CBD Oil Spray. With the Netherlands known for its cannabis, it’s unsurprising that Love CBD has an entire CBD oil range dedicated to this country. All the hemp strains used in this product are grown in the Netherlands. Once again, it is a full-spectrum oil containing both CBD and CBDA.

In case you were wondering, all the oils come in spray form rather than a dropper because it is less likely to leak and is often easier to administer.

The prices vary depending on the type of oil, the bottle size, and the strength. Here is a quick breakdown:

  • Love CBD Spray 250mg 20ml: £19.99
  • Love CBD Spray 500mg 20ml: £29.99
  • Love CBD Dutch CBD Oil Spray 150mg 20ml: £12.99
  • Love CBD Dutch CBD Oil Spray 300mg 20ml: £18.99
  • Love CBD Dutch CBD Oil Spray 500mg 20ml: £28.99
  • Love CBD Entourage Oil Spray 800mg 10ml: £25.99
  • Love CBD Entourage Oil Spray 800mg 20ml: £48.99
  • Love CBD Entourage Oil Spray 1400mg 20ml: £79.99
  • Love CBD Entourage Oil Spray 2000mg 20ml: £99.99

Love CBD Capsules

Love CBD Capsules

The Love CBD capsules are once again broken down into the Entourage Oil formula and the Dutch CBD Oil formula. Both are made using vegan-friendly vegetable capsules. This is nice to see, because often vegans can’t consume CBD capsules which are made using gelatine.

The Dutch CBD Capsules are a lower strength, containing just 5mg of CBD and CBDA per capsule. The Entourage Capsules, meanwhile, contain 10mg of CBD per capsule. You also have the option to purchase a double strength addition, with 20mg of CBD and CBDA per pill.

Here is a quick look at the prices:

  • Love CBD Dutch CBD Capsules 30-count (150mg): £9.99
  • Love CBD Dutch CBD Capsules 80-count (400mg): £23.99
  • Love CBD Entourage Capsules 30-count (300mg): £18.99
  • Love CBD Entourage Capsules 60-count (600mg): £34.99
  • Love CBD Double Strength Entourage Capsules 60-count (1200mg): £59.99

Love CBD Topicals

Love CBD Topicals

Currently, Love CBD only has one topical on offer: The Love CBD Balm. This multi-purpose skin balm is formulated with coconut oil, shea butter, grape seed oil, vanilla extract, and beta-caryophyllene. These moisturising ingredients are intended to be both simple and kind to the skin.

The hemp extract in the balm comes from hemp grown in Slovenia and Croatia. The amount of CBD differs depending on the size of the jar, as follows:

  • Love CBD Balm 10g (100mg): £13.99
  • Love CBD Balm 30g (300mg): £29.99
  • Love CBD Balm 100g (1000mg): £59.99

Love CBD E-Liquids

Love CBD E-Liquids

Love CBD sells two forms of e-liquid: Sativa and Indica. The brand claims that it has recreated a terpene blend similar to the sativa and indica subspecies of cannabis, thereby mimicking the effects of each strain type. While sativa cannabis tends to be uplifting and energising, indicas tend to be sedating and relaxing.

These e-liquids use a blend of 65% propylene glycol (PG) to 35% vegetable glycerine. We know that some brands have stopped using PG due to health concerns about vaping, but Love CBD does not seem to be one of these companies.

Both varieties of the e-liquid contain 250mg of CBD alongside the terpenes. There is 10ml of e-liquid in total. One thing we will say is that these are not the most pleasant tasting e-liquids you’re going to find. Many come in fruity and sweet flavours, but these obviously taste like cannabis. If you’re not a fan of the weed taste, we recommend steering clear!

Both e-liquids cost £19.99.

Our Final Verdict on Love CBD: 8/10

It’s hard to find a bad word to say about Love CBD. This is an experienced brand with a good range of products, and it understands the importance of providing customers with as much information as possible. It’s nice that users have the option to choose between more powerful Entourage Oils and cheaper Dutch CBD oils, too. Love CBD is proving that CBD doesn’t have to be mega-expensive to be high-quality.

Luckily, Love CBD ships everywhere in Europe apart from Norway and Iceland. If you like in Europe and want to give hemp products a shot, then Love CBD should definitely be a contender.
