Empire Wellness: Full Review

Choosing a CBD product can feel an impossible task. With so many brands, where are you supposed to start?

Reading reviews is a good place to begin. By reading reviews, you can determine the kind of brands that align with your values and find products that would work around your lifestyle. Plus, you can get someone else’s opinion on whether a brand is trustworthy.

Today, we will be taking a look at the Empire Wellness CBD brand. You might have heard of this company already, but let’s take a look at whether its products make the cut.

Who Is Empire Wellness?

Empire Wellness is an American CBD company specialising in isolate products. Other products are available on the site, but Empire Wellness is really renowned for its CBD isolate products.

Everything on the website is produced from hemp grown naturally in Colorado. This state is widely regarded as one of the best for growing hemp and creating hemp products, so no wonder Empire Wellness’ CBD is considered to be high quality.

Since a 99% CBD isolate is used in all products, they may not appeal to everyone. Those in search of the entourage effect, or those who want more than just CBD, will not be satisfied with this brand and will have to look elsewhere. However, those who are concerned about THC and the presence of THC in CBD products can find reliability in Empire Wellness.

If you are interested in isolates, then read on.

Empire Wellness CBD Products

Remember that all Empire Wellness products are produced using a 99% pure CBD isolate. Check them out below.

Empire Wellness CBD Oil

The Empire Wellness CBD oils are produced by infusing a coconut MCT carrier oil with 99% CBD crystal isolate. Coconut oil is widely regarded as one of the best carrier oils for CBD, because it is said to increase bioavailability.

Each bottle is 10ml, with a dropper attached for ease of use. Empire Wellness sells a few different strengths, and the label of each bottle shows you how many milligrams of CBD are contained per millilitre. This is ideal for helping you measure out a dose.

  • 150mg 99% Crystal Isolate CBD Oil: $35.00
  • 700mg 99% Crystal Isolate CBD Oil: $85.00

Interestingly, Empire Wellness also sells two full-spectrum options for those looking for the entourage effect. It says that each one contains a certain quantity of ‘cannabinoids’; so remember, the number on the bottle is not just CBD.

  • 500mg Full Spectrum CBD Oil: $60.00
  • 1500mg Full Spectrum CBD Oil: $170.00

Empire Wellness CBD Hemp Flower

Empire Wellness CBD Hemp Flower

The hemp flower is quite interesting as a product. It is essentially cannabis flower, but of course from hemp instead of marijuana. While it is possible to cook with it by making a cannabutter of some sorts, it can also be smoked in a hemp ‘joint’. In countries and states where cannabis is not yet legal, this is going to look more than suspicious. Even with less than 0.3% THC, there is a risk of arrest.

The hemp flowers come in a range of different strains depending on what is available at the time. Customers will simply have to keep their eyes peeled. 1g of each strain costs just $10.

Just be aware that there are potential risks alongside this product, including legal consequences and health issues relating to smoking.

Empire Wellness CBD Isolate

Empire Wellness CBD Crystal

Empire Wellness says that its CBD isolate is of better quality than other companies. Of course, this is what most companies say. The reason Empire Wellness thinks this is that the powder burns at a higher temperature compared to other companies’ products. As a result, it is more versatile and can be used for cooking, dabbing, baking, and more.

The isolate can be purchased both with and without terpenes. Terpenes add more flavour and also add their own health benefits, which is why some people prefer terpsolate. Nevertheless, there is also the option to buy a pure 99% CBD isolate.

  • 99% CBD Isolate 1g: $50.00
  • 99% CBD Isolate 7g: $350.00
  • 99% CBD Isolate 14g: $700.00
  • 99% CBD Isolate 28g: $1,400.00

Empire Wellness Live Resin Wax

As opposed to the isolate, the live resin wax is full-spectrum and contains all of the compounds found in the natural hemp plant. Empire Wellness uses Charlotte’s Web and ACDC strains of hemp to produce this product, and CO2 extraction to draw out the compounds.

Every gram of the wax contains 500mg of full-spectrum CBD, packing a truly potent punch. Once again, the product comes in 1g tubs, but can be bought in bulk if you are stocking up.

  • Live Resin Wax 1g: $70.00
  • Live Resin Wax 7g: $490.00
  • Live Resin Wax 14g: $980.00

Empire Wellness CBD Syrup

Empire Wellness CBD Syrup

The Empire Wellness CBD Relaxation Syrup is designed to help you sleep and unwind. It is used as a beverage enhancer, meaning you mix it with water in order to add both flavour and CBD. There are two options: Grape and Cherry.

Each bottle is 4oz, which should make 2-4 drinks depending on your dose. In total, the bottle contains 100mg of CBD isolate. Plus, there is 10mg of added melatonin to help you relax even more.

Both options are $50.

Empire Wellness Terpenes

People are becoming increasingly interested in buying terpenes on their own. These terpene blends are based on real cannabis strains, and can be added to other CBD products – or any products for that matter – in order to produce specific effects.

Terpenes are known to have their own natural health benefits, so you can select a specific terpene blend depending on your aims.

There are no cannabinoids in these products – only terpenes. Empire Wellness names them by the strain they are based on. Currently, 14 strains are offered, with more coming soon. Something we don’t like, however, is that Empire Wellness doesn’t say which terpenes are in each blend. It is a bit strange to expect consumers to know this offhand. Regardless, you’ll have to do your own research.

The terpenes come in a little vial in liquid form, and can be mixed with whatever you like. Each 1ml vial costs $70.

Our Final Thoughts on Empire Wellness: 6/10

Empire Wellness is, overall, a pretty good brand. If you’re in the market for CBD isolates, then we recommend checking them out. However, you will need to be resident in the United States, as Empire Wellness doesn’t ship to the UK. This might be unfortunate, but there are different laws in each country and many brands don’t want to shoulder the risk of shipping internationally.

Even if you live in the U.S., you might want to be careful when purchasing hemp flower. We went into more detail on this matter during our Tweedle Farms review, but we just recommend being careful with products like this.

Nevertheless, we like Empire Wellness overall. It would be nice if they could add a little more detail in the product descriptions, and perhaps post lab reports on the site. But apart from that, we have no real complaints.

Of course, if you are looking for full-spectrum products, then you might be better off looking elsewhere. We recommend NuLeaf Naturals, one of our top-rated brands. Learn more in our full NuLeaf Naturals review.
