Palmetto Harmony is another brand with a lovely backstory. It’s nice to know that there’s a genuine reason behind a CBD brand. But do the products live up to the brand’s story? Let’s find out.
Palmetto Harmony: Quick Summary
Palmetto Harmony Pros
- A brand with a touching back story will always go a long way in the CBD industry.
- A decent range of products with a little something in every category.
- The strong products are good for people in ill health.
Palmetto Harmony Cons
- These products are quite expensive. We understand that they are high-quality and very strong, but they are not affordable for all consumers.
- The ranges are quite deceptive – there is only one strength available, just in different bottle sizes. Really, there is not that much difference.
- Third-party lab reports are only available on request. Personally, we don’t think that’s very transparent.

Palmetto Harmony: Full Review
CBD was first brought to the market as a medicinal product. Since its first appearance, the United States government has taken out a patent on cannabidiol for its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and neuroprotectant properties. Pharmaceutical companies have made synthetic versions of CBD to make medications like Sativex, and the MHRA has made over-the-counter CBD medicines illegal in Great Britain.
However, CBD food supplements are still legal. These products have the power to boost your health and help you maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Nevertheless, the roots of the CBD industry have meant that many brands have touching backstories. Often, brands were started up by people who found a small amount of relief in CBD products, and wanted to spread this joy.
Palmetto Harmony is one of these companies. If you are in the market for high-quality CBD for the whole family, then Palmetto Harmony could be the one for you. Let’s check out the Palmetto Harmony products in today’s review.
Who Is Palmetto Harmony?
Palmetto Harmony was founded by Janel Ralph. Her daughter, Harmony, suffered from many daily seizures due to a debilitating epileptic condition, and Janel found that hemp-derived products had helped.
Janel founded Palmetto Synergistic Research to create the Palmetto Harmony products. From the beginning, the company has sourced its hemp from license farms in Kentucky, using whole-plant extract to create high-quality CBD products.
One of the reasons Janel started her own company was because she had struggled to find safe, compliant products for her daughter. As a result, Palmetto Harmony is dedicated to having all of its products tested in an ISO-certified third-party laboratory. The brand is very passionate about transparency and straightforwardness when it comes to the products.
To learn more about Harmony’s story and the team behind these amazing products, head to the Palmetto Harmony website. The ‘About Us’ section is very informative for those who are interested.
Bear in mind that these products cannot be purchased in the UK. The products are full-spectrum, and complicated international laws prevent the brand from being able to ship to Great Britain. This is unfortunate, but the fault lies with the governments of our countries and a lack of regulation in the CBD industry.
Palmetto Harmony has quite a big range of products. Let’s check them out.
Palmetto Harmony CBD Products
It’s clear that Palmetto Harmony is dedicated to its product line. Many of the products are new, showing that the brand regularly creates new products and adapts to what the customers want. So, let’s see what they have on offer.
Palmetto Harmony CBD Oils
The Palmetto Harmony oils all contain the same strength, but you have different options when it comes to bottle size. The oils are made using full-spectrum hemp extract suspended in pharmaceutical-grade MCT oil. Palmetto Harmony says that the products are all organic, too.
- Palmetto Harmony 30ml (600mg): $79.99
- Palmetto Harmony 100ml (2000mg): $184.99
If you are using CBD oil for a specific purpose every day and need a lot, then bulk-buying with the stronger option might help you save money long-term. However, dropping a grand on CBD oil might be steep for some!
Each oil comes in a dropper bottle, apart from the 946ml (32oz) one. You can purchase an ‘Adaptacap’ for $1, which converts the bottle to more syringe-based dosing. Also, both strengths come in an Orange option as well as a natural flavour.
Palmetto Harmony CBD Topicals
Palmetto Harmony separates its topicals into normal topicals and CBD skincare. For ease, we have grouped them together.
In terms of topical treatments, Palmetto Harmony stocks a Transdermal Patch. The patch contains 30mg of CBD which is released over 12 hours. Simply attach the patch to your skin somewhere not visible and allow the CBD to enter your bloodstream slowly. The patch costs $19.99, but it was out of stock when we visited the site.
Then, there are three creams. Each is 2oz and contains 100mg of CBD, costing $34.99. The Psorian Cream is made using East African Shea Butter, beeswax, comfrey root, marshmallow root, and lavender. The Cannacense cream is made using the same shea butter and beeswax, but has Frankincense and a citrusy scent. A new addition is Holy Cannacense, which is basically Cannacense with added Holy Basil.
Bear in mind that all the creams need to be stored at a certain temperature, or they will liquify.
Then there are the skin care products. All of these are fairly new additions to the brand, and have probably been formulated because CBD skincare has become hugely popular. The cheapest product is the Mango Hydrating Lotion. The 50ml tube contains 300mg of CBD alongside avocado oil, mango butter, aloe, and more; it is intended to keep your skin firm and youthful. To care for your skin before bedtime, the Lavender Night Cream works to both remove makeup and moisturise your skin. It contains 300mg of CBD, rosemary seed extract, avocado oil, crushed lavender buds, and more. Finally, there is the 4 C’s Anti-Wrinkle Cream, featuring CBD, Collagen, Caffeine and Carrot Extract. The 15ml container contains 300mg of CBD.
- Mango Hydrating Lotion: $44.99
- Lavender Night Cream: $49.99
- 4 C’s Anti-Wrinkle Cream: $84.99
The brand even sells CBD soap, which is pretty unique!
Palmetto Harmony CBD Capsules
Palmetto Harmony full-spectrum capsules come in a soft gel format. They are made using beef gelatine, and so cannot be used by vegans. However, the beef gelatine is kosher-grade. The full-spectrum product ensures that you also get Omega 3, 6, and 9 fatty acids. Each capsule contains 10mg of CBD.
- Spectrum Capsules 30-count: $49.99
- Spectrum Capsules 60-count: $89.99
Alternatively, you can buy the Spectrum Suppositories, in a 7-count packet. The suppositories similarly contain 10mg of CBD each, as well as full-spectrum compounds from the plant. The packet costs $19.99.
Palmetto Harmony CBD Vapes
The vape options from Palmetto Harmony consist of either vape oil or pre-filled vape cartridges.
Somewhat disappointingly, the oil is only available in one flavour. That flavour is natural hemp, which definitely will not appeal to everybody. However, a positive is that the ingredients don’t include propylene glycol (PG), which is good news for your health.
- Palmetto Aura Vape Oil 15ml (150mg): $23.99
- Palmetto Aura Vape Oil 30ml (300mg): $39.99
The pre-filled vape pen is an easy-to-use device with a sleek black design. Simply click the vape cartridges into the top, and vape away. There are no buttons to press – just inhale and enjoy. The 1ml cartridges contain 10mg of each, made using the Palmetto Aura Vape Oil mentioned above. A prefilled pen costs $49.99. After that, you can reuse and recharge the pen, purchasing a 2-pack of vape cartridges from the site for $19.99.
Palmetto Harmony CBD for Pets
Palmetto Paws is the name given to the line of CBD pet products. These are not full-spectrum. They are THC-free, meaning that they have a broad-spectrum profile with some terpenes. There are no additives, so it may be difficult to get your pet to enjoy the oil.
With 20mg of CBD per ml, you might find that this formula is not suited to small dogs.
- Palmetto Paws 15ml (300mg): $44.99
- Palmetto Paws 30ml (600mg): $79.99
Our Verdict on Palmetto Harmony: 8/10
In general, Palmetto Harmony seems like a great company. However, we feel that it falls just short of the mark in several areas.
It’s great that Palmetto Harmony has a touching back story and a mission to help people – but it’s hard to do that when the products are so expensive. It would be nice if the brand offered different potencies and more affordability.
Furthermore, the ranges of products are quite small. There is, of course, only one potency for all of the products. The vapes also have only one flavour. We often see brands offering many flavours for both vapes, sublingual oils, and pet products, as the taste of CBD can be quite unpleasant. That being said, if you are not interested in flavourings then this could be a positive.
We also don’t like that the company claims to pride itself on transparency but only provides lab reports upon request. We prefer it when lab reports are visible for all to see.
Nevertheless, reviews of Palmetto Harmony are overwhelmingly positive. People seem to love these organic products, and so it appears that this is a reputable and trustworthy brand. At the end of the day, you can’t fault Palmetto Harmony on quality.
Then again, this brand didn’t quite reach full marks. We think you should check out Charlotte’s Web; it’s another brand with a touching backstory, but we gave them a 10/10 in our review. Find out what makes the difference in our full Charlotte’s Web review.
